Investors are increasingly doubtful about further S&P 500 gains as European and Chinese stocks outperform, according to Bank of America strategist Michael Hartnett. The S&P 500 has risen less than 2% in 2025, while the MSCI All-Country World Index excluding the US has surged 7%. Hartnett expects investors to seek fiscal intervention if the S&P drops to 5,600-5,700.
