Recycling player Gravita India Ltd on Wednesday (January 22) reported a 29.4% surge in net profit at ₹78 crore in the December quarter. The company had posted a net profit of ₹60.3 crore in the same quarter last fiscal year. The revenue in the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal year was up 31.5% at ₹996.4 crore against ₹757.8 crore in the year-ago period.

State-owned Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) on Wednesday (January 22) announced that its board of directors has approved the submission of a plan to the Indonesian regulator for developing the Nunukan block's oil and gas reserves. The proposed plan, once approved and subject to meeting specified conditions, will involve an estimated investment of $121 million.

The National Company Law Tribunal’s (NCLT) Delhi bench has dismissed Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s plea to initiate insolvency proceedings against ed-tech company Cue Learn Pvt. Ltd. Kumar had filed a plea against the edtech under Section 9 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) over the non-payment of ₹4.83 crore as part of a 2021 endorsement agreement, terming the dues operational debt.
