ATM usage cost up by ₹2 to ₹23/withdrawal after free monthly usage limit

The RBI has increased ATM cash withdrawal charges beyond the free limit to ₹23 per transaction, effective May 1, 2025, up from ₹21. Customers are eligible for five free transactions at their bank's ATMs and three to five at other banks' ATMs, depending on location. The interchange fee remains network-determined.
