Amazon Pay introduces fixed deposit option

Amazon Pay has launched fixed deposit services in India in partnership with seven financial institutions. Users can invest a minimum of Rs 1,000 with interest rates up to 8 percent per annum and enjoy additional benefits including extra interest for senior citizens and women investors. FDs are insured up to Rs 5 lakh per depositor.
