Adani Data Networks sheds regulatory burden with spectrum deal with Airtel

Adani Data Networks has sold 400 MHz of spectrum in the 26 GHz band to Bharti Airtel, marking Adani's exit from direct spectrum ownership to cut losses and regulatory liabilities. Adani had acquired the spectrum in 2022 for private 5G networks but faced challenges in deployment and meeting rollout obligations. Airtel will now manage the spectrum.
